You may know them as Ladyfingers but these long finger or oval shaped cookies are also known around the world as Boudoir biscuits, sponge biscuits, sponge fingers, Naples biscuits, Savoy biscuits (Savoiardi) Ladyfingers are very similar to Cat's Tongue Cookies.In Turkey they are generaly known as cat tongue or savoiardi (which is a very famouse brend from Italy)
I generaly like to bake my own lady fingers but this time i didnt have time, so i used the savoiardi biscuits.I also love to make the tramisu with lady finger biscuits.And i advice that.Its more easy and deliciouse.
