Very old Ottaman desert.I prefer to buy them from yufkacı not to bake at home cos they are so deliciouse.Just cook its şerbet(candy) at home.For its candy i use 2 glass of water and 2 glass of sugar and lemon(one fourth)just boil sugar and water and add the lemon.And pour on the cookies while its hot.Serve the desert cold with cream.There so much deserts this kind in Turkish cuisine.
